March 19th AANR/TNS & landed club Swim

The next AANR/TNS nude swim is scheduled for Saturday, March19, 2011 here at The RICHMOND RETREAT.  Unfortunately, this is the same night as the UNCLAD Art show in Stanwood. The show runs from 7:00 to 9:00pm., and the swim was scheduled to run from 6:00 to 10:30 pm.  But, because of the overlapping times, we've decided to extend the swim hours from 6:00 until midnight to accommodate those of you who might want to attend both gatherings.

NOW there's no excuse for not joining in the fun.  We'll be here until 12:00am!  Bring your membership cards, towels, a snack to share & an adult beverage of your choice,  We supply the coffee, tea, soda, sauna, hot tub & pool.  Please pass the word to naturist friends & other club members.  $20/person.  Contact Larry at therichmondretreat.com or call (206) 369-6116 with questions.  We hope to see many of you this Saturday!

SPA SUFFERS A SLOW, MISERABLE DEATH!

The Wednesday & Friday Spa Days are being discontinued as of Wednesday, March 9th, 2011.  They  were scheduled to be suspended for the Summer on April 1st, but, since they have not been "warmly" embraced by the naturist community, Cathy & I have decided to pull the plug on them a bit sooner than expected.

The SLUGS & AANR/TNS Swims are still being held on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month.  Also, remember that the RETREAT is available for group rental on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.  Please call or email for availability & pricing.  Fees vary depending upon the desired event, & rental is likely to be much more affordable than you might think!

You're a.....nudist? Really??

You like people, you like being naked, and you like to associate with other, like-mined naked people.  Mixed gender, non-sexual, social nudity is not complicated.  It feels right, & it feels natural.  It's not wrong, & it's not immoral.

So...the next time someone asks you if you're a nudist or wonders loudly about how "people can actually do that!",  don't be afraid to speak up!  You'll find most people are more curious than damning.

AANR/TNS Swim

Beginning this Saturday, January 15, 2011, THE RICHMOND RETREAT will host a nude swim for card carrying members of AANR, TNS and all landed clubs throughout the NW. The swims will be on the 3rd Saturday of each month and will run from 6:00 - 10:30 pm,  $20 per person.  Please bring your membership card, your own towel (s) and a snack to share (if you like).  We supply water, coffee, tea & sodas, otherwise it's BYOB.  Communication is somewhat challenging so please pass the word to anyone who might be interested in attending.

Snow!!

Somethings never change.  Even the slightest mention of snow in & around the Puget Sound elicits high anxiety.  Schools close, appointments are cancelled, traffic is gridlocked and the TV weather people become giddy with delight.  Yes, it's supposed to snow this evening & the world as we know it is apprehensively slowing to a crawl.

EXCEPT HERE!

THE RICHMOND RETREAT will be open tomorrow from 3:00 - 9:00pm.  You can swim, sauna, & soak then relax by the fire with a beverage of your choice and a few naked friends.  Join us if you can.

I love this picture!  People are people.  We're just as intense & competitive when  naked as when  dressed.

Please remember to bring picture ID & your current membership card to AANR, TNS or any landed or non-landed nudist/naturist organization.   $25/per person, unlimited access to the pool, hot tub, sauna, lounge & patio - you'll need to bring your own parka for the patio!
